Like a fish!
Prior to this meet Kirsten was ready to take a break from swimming. Practice twice during the week and meets on weekends was starting to become too much for her so we all agreed to take a break until summer. Well, now that she had such a good meet she has become motivated to continue to swim through the winter. Tami and I have continued to allow her to make the choice of whether she swims or not. It has been fun to see her become more outgoing and continue to open up to those around her. It will be interesting to see how long and far she takes this. She placed first in her heat at this meet. It was the West Championships. Enjoy the video. She is the swimmer on the top of the screen. Sorry about the dude yelling!! We hear him at most meets!

I cried watching this, and am still bawling. Wouldn't Tammy and Lori love it? Kirsten, we are so proud of you because we remember when you wouldn't even put your head under water. What a beautiful little mermaid you have become.!! gma h

ReplyDeleteRay,
ReplyDeleteIt has been a learning curve for me but if I have questions I can ask my daughter!! Still playing the guitar. Bought my brother's 12 string and also using my brother-in-laws 6 string. I have a bit of a timing issue but I just hang it out there a away we go. Thanks for asking.
