Catholics, Baptist, Methodist, Morman, Holdeman are and have been represented at my department. Our conversation last shift was started by my asking a former Holdeman Mennonite about the use of musical instruments. He related that it was not allowed within the church due to the verse as he said...."a clanging cymbal...." It was a great conversation starter. My response was "I believe that the verse you are refering to is talking about love...." We continued the conversation (9 of us) as we washed dishes. We had a great conversation, laughed and debated about life, God and what we all believe. I wonder if it will ever make a difference.
Just a few things we talk about at the firehouse.
It will make a difference, Rob--because you make a difference. You are secure enough with your Lord to allow others to talk about what they believe without hammering, poking, and cutting assunder. They see a difference or this conversation could never have happened. Keep it up!! Mom h
